Scheduling a Message
When composing a reply, click the calendar icon next to the Send button. A date and time picker will appear โ choose when you’d like the message to be sent.
The picker defaults to tomorrow at 9:00 AM, but you can choose any date and time in the future.
Once you’ve picked a time, the Send button changes to Schedule, and the chosen time appears next to it. Click Schedule to confirm.
To remove the scheduled time before sending, click the X button next to the date. The button will revert back to Send for immediate delivery.
After Scheduling
Once you click Schedule:
- A banner appears on the message showing when it will send, along with a Cancel button
- The conversation appears in the Scheduled section of Inbox menu (visible to your whole team)
- At the scheduled time, the message is sent automatically
The Scheduled Mailbox
When any messages are scheduled, a Scheduled section appears in the Inbox menu. This shows all conversations that have a message waiting to be sent, sorted by send time.
Cancelling a Scheduled Message
You can cancel a scheduled message from the conversation โ click the Cancel button on the message banner. The message will revert to a draft so you can edit it, reschedule it, or send it immediately.
