๐Ÿ‘‘ Discord Integration

Discord Integration lets Jelly post notifications about incoming and outgoing emails to a channel in your Discord server using a webhook. It’s a simple, one-way notification system โ€” currently in beta.

This feature is only available on the Royal Jelly plan

What Does It Do?

When a message is sent or received in Jelly, a plain text notification is posted to your configured Discord webhook. The notification includes:

  • An emoji indicating whether it’s a new message or a reply
  • The sender’s name and recipients
  • A link to the conversation in Jelly
  • Any labels on the conversation

Setting Up Discord Integration

Prerequisites

  • Admin access in Jelly
  • A Royal Jelly subscription (or an active free trial)
  • A Discord webhook URL from your server

Create a Discord Webhook

  1. In Discord, open your server settings
  2. Go to Integrations โ†’ Webhooks
  3. Click New Webhook
  4. Choose the channel where you want notifications to appear
  5. Copy the webhook URL

Connect to Jelly

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Integrations
  2. Under the Discord (beta) section, paste your webhook URL
  3. Click Update

That’s it โ€” Jelly will now post to your Discord channel whenever messages are sent or received.

Discord Integration is currently in beta. If you don’t see the webhook URL field on the Integrations page, contact Jelly support to have it enabled for your team.

Disconnecting

To stop receiving Discord notifications, remove the webhook URL from the Integrations page or delete the webhook in Discord’s server settings.

Tips

  • Use a dedicated channel โ€” Create a channel like #email-notifications so Discord notifications don’t get lost in conversation
  • Customize the webhook name โ€” In Discord’s webhook settings, you can rename the webhook (e.g., “Jelly”) and give it a custom avatar
